What information is required to register on the eDistrict Portal?

User has to provide basic information i.e. User Name, Email and Password to register on the eDistrict portal

 

Can I create multiple accounts with the same email?

No. The email has to be a unique, valid and accessible by the User since various Alerts and Notifications for eDistrict Service Delivery will be provided via email.

 

Can I change my username / password later?

User cannot change the username. There is change password option to update the password. Users should note the username which will be used for password recovery (if required).

 

Where can I find instructions to apply for different services?

The instructions to apply for different services can be seen in the “How to apply” section of https://edistrict.nagaland.gov.in

 

What are the charges for the services?

There are different charges for each service. When user submits the application, it would be routed through the payment gateway to pay the nominal fee. The Payment Gateway also levies its convenience fees + applicable GST over and above the specific Service Charges.

 

What are the different payment modes accepted for the services? 

User will be able to pay through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net banking, Wallets, UPI, NEFT etc.

 

What is the toll free number / email for eDistrict ?

For all support related queries, you may send the query to nsegs2018@gmail.com . NPSC Related Helpdesk may be accessed during Official Working Hours (Monday to Saturday) at +91 8259977429. Kindly allow upto 24 hrs for responses to email queries.

 

How do I know if my application has been approved?

User will receive an Email and SMS (on registered email / mobile number) on approval of the application. Alternately, User can also log into the eDistrict application and check on the status of the application in the User Dashboard.

 

Does the eDistrict Application store my personal information securely?

All the user personal information will be stored securely with the eDistrict application portal. Kindly refer the Terms of Use for the eDistrict Portal.

 

Does the eDistrict Application share personal user information with other services?

No. eDistrict application will not share the personal information with any other entity. Kindly refer the Terms of Use for the eDistrict Portal.

 

What are the timeframes for delivery of eServices?

Each service will be delivered within 10-15 working days depending on completion of requisite scrutiny of each application by concerned Service providing Department / Organization.

 

Can I change my registered email and mobile number?

User can update the mobile number but not the email id.

 

Is it mandatory to completely fill up the User Profile?

User has to fill all the mandatory fields of the user profile section. The same data would be used for delivering services by eDistrict portal. This will ensure time saving while filling up various eForms available in the eDistrict portal.

 

What are the documents required to be submitted for various eDistrict Services? 

The documents required for various services are as below:

 

Scheduled Tribe Certificate: Photo, Birth certificate, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Permanent Residency Certificate: Photo, Birth certificate, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Domicile Certificate: Photo, Birth certificate, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate: Photo, Birth certificate, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Backward Tribe Certificate: Photo, Birth certificate, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Succession Certificate: Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate/Affidavit

Registration of Societies: Scan copy of challan, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Renewal of Society: Scanned copy of certificate registration, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Income Certificate: Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Issue of Permits: Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Renewal of Arms License: Scanned copy of license, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Sale Deed/Gift Deed: Deed scanned copy, Proof of Address and Proof of Identity

Why is filling up the User profile mandatory? 

User has to fill the user profile details and same information can be used while delivering the services by eDistrict application. Some Generic Legacy Information like Name, Fathers Name, Date of Birth, Email,  Mobile Number will be pre-populated in eForms for Services which will reduce the time required to fill up eForms.
